Please note! The sidecar comes standard with an empty interior. The seat, rain cover and safety belts are optional and can be ordered separately.
The arms of the sidecar are adjustable, allowing the sidecar to be perfectly adjusted to virtually any bicycle. The 75 cm mentioned is an average size. The total width (from the sidecar wheel to the outer point of the left handlebar) averages between 110-120 cm, depending on the bicycle and the width of the handlebars.
The sidecar is supplied as a kit, so you can easily assemble it yourself. All parts are contained in a sturdy cardboard box, including clear assembly instructions.
Safety comes first. Riding a sidecar is no more dangerous than riding a cargo bike/bike trailer or a bicycle with a child seat/dog basket, but it is otherwise. The big advantage is that your child or dog is sitting right next to you. This gives you peace of mind. You always have direct eye contact and always cross at the same time. That feels safer than a bicycle trailer behind you.
