The sidecar is available in red, black, racing green and white. As standard, we supply the sidecar with two coloured stripes and a logo on the front and rear. You can choose the colours in our product configurator.
The Doggy Door is a handmade sidecar with a door, designed in Denmark. Lightweight, strong and specially designed for dogs. Thanks to the rear door, your dog can get in and out by itself, which is ideal when lifting is difficult. It is without doubt the lightest sidecar currently available for bicycles.
For medium-sized or large dogs, or dogs that cannot be lifted: The Doggy Door has a convenient rear door and sturdy eye bolts for the dog leash.
For active owners who want to enjoy adventures together: Cycling with your dog beside you is more enjoyable and sociable than when your dog is behind or in front of you.

Please note! The sidecar comes standard with an empty interior. The seat or rain cover/rain hood are optional and can be ordered separately.
The arms of the sidecar are adjustable, allowing the sidecar to be perfectly adjusted to almost any bicycle. The 75 cm mentioned is therefore an average size. The total width (from the sidecar wheel to the outer point of the left handlebar) averages between 110-120 cm, depending on the bicycle and the width of the handlebars.
The sidecar is supplied as a kit, so you can easily assemble it yourself. All parts are contained in a sturdy cardboard box, including clear assembly instructions.
Safety comes first. Riding a sidecar is no more dangerous than riding a cargo bike/bike trailer or a bicycle with a child seat/dog basket, but it is otherwise. The big advantage is that your child or dog is sitting right next to you. This gives you peace of mind. You always have direct eye contact and always cross at the same time. That feels safer than a bicycle trailer behind you.
